Our Services
General Gynaecology Consultation
A pelvic examination is a medical procedure in which the outside and inside of the genital area are examined using a speculum.
Contraception
contraceptive or birth control methods are used to help prevent pregnancy. There are various types of contraceptive methods available, such as hormonal methods (like birth control pills, patches, and injections), barrier methods (like condoms and diaphragms), intrauterine devices (IUDs), and permanent methods (like sterilization).
Fertility Treatment
Fertility treatment encompasses various methods and techniques aimed at assisting couples in achieving pregnancy. It involves investigating and addressing both female and male factors that may be contributing to infertility.
Prenatal Care
Antenatal care, also known as prenatal care, is the healthcare provided to women during pregnancy to ensure the well-being of both the mother and the baby. It involves regular check-ups, prenatal testing, and guidance on healthy behavior. The goal is to monitor the progress of the pregnancy, detect any potential issues, and provide appropriate medical intervention if necessary.
Deliveries
There are different methods of childbirth, including vaginal delivery and c-section. However, it is important to remember that every woman’s pregnancy and delivery experience is unique and may not go exactly according to plan.
Adolescent Gynaecology
Pediatric gynaecologist’s are specially trained to provide medical care for conditions such as menstrual disorders, hormonal imbalances, genital abnormalities, and other related concerns in younger patients.
Laparoscopy Surgery
It involves using a laparoscope, which is a thin, flexible tube with a camera attached, to visualize the inside of the abdomen and pelvis. Small incisions are made, typically around half an inch each, through which the laparoscope and other surgical instruments are inserted. This minimally invasive approach allows for visual examination, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions without the need for large incisions.
Cervical Cancer Screening
The main purpose of a Pap smear is to identify signs of cervical cancer or any precancerous conditions. Regular Pap smears are recommended for women as part of their routine healthcare, usually starting at the age of 21 or as recommended by their healthcare provider.
